What is ETN?
The European Trainers Network of Toastmasters in Region 10 was founded in 2006 to develop the training skills of club members like you. It's free to join. We have a mix of new and quite experienced trainers. We mentor and network, in-person and online, with club members throughout Europe, sharing our knowledge and supporting each other in pursuing training excellence.
ETN has holds regular online practice sessions for any Toastmasters club member to demonstrate their training skills and receive an evaluation! We ask trainers to present short remote learning methods such as demonstrations, role-plays, exercises and case studies, in order to learn how to use, and to build their confidence in using, the Zoom Pro platform. Look below at the schedule or practice session "Future Meetings."
A note for club members in Ireland or the UK? In order to book your attendance at one of our meetings, you must log in with your username and password for this installation of easy-Speak or, register for free as a new user on this installation. Just make a free user account if necessary.
Club Officer Training - Orientation for Organizers & Presenters (We have completed this program for summer officers training. Please let us know if you are interested in attending in the future.)
As organizers and presenters of a club officer training, your responsibility is to ensure that our club officers make the most of their valuable time. They deserve our unwavering support in mastering the skills and tools essential for exceptional leadership.
But here's the challenge: How can we create a training event that not only captivates and excites our club officers, but also empowers them to unleash their full potential?
Join us in this important orientation project, so you can empower your officers to reach new heights of leadership excellence. Together, we'll shape the future of our Toastmasters clubs and create a vibrant community of empowered leaders.
What was your key takeaway after this session?
- “For me, just bringing us back and highlighting what we need to share with our area directors, and how they get started, has been very beneficial for me.”
- “For me, the biggest takeaway was the handbook about how to organize the COT. I did not know about it.”
- “Now I'm really excited, mainly because I can go back and say, 'Here are a couple of manuals you want to look at. Use Toastmasters international supplied material; don't rewrite the book.'”
- “One of the things I saw, and then thought about, was 'I'm here not just to learn what I need to do, but also because it's fun to meet other Toastmasters and to learn what is beyond the club.'”
